Cookies

A cookie is a small text file that the website you visit saves on your computer. While you are browsing the NPC's website, a so-called session cookie is stored temporarily in your computer's memory, for example, to keep track of which language you have chosen and which page was visited last. However, session cookies are not stored for a long time on your computer, but will disappear when you close your browser.

According to the Electronic Communications Act, which entered into force on July 25, 2003, anyone visiting a website with cookies should be informed that the website contains cookies, what these cookies are used for and how cookies can be avoided.

If a visitor makes a login to the member web, cookies are used to store the login information. If cookies are denied at login, the login box will be displayed for each new page that requires login.

Website development
The NPC further collects information on how the website is used, so-called visitor statistics. Examples of such statistics can be the number of visits, which URLs, domains and IP addresses the visits come from, what times the website is most visited, which parts of the website are most visited, and so on. The NPC can then use this information to see which parts of the website can be improved.

Limitation of Liability
