The NPC has approved additional adherence applications for participation in the NPC Instant Credit Transfer (NCT Inst) Scheme, as a step towards harmonisation of payments by expanding the usage of the NPC rulebooks across the Nordics.
In total, we now have approved 45 scheme applications for participation in DKK via TIPS DKK, with a readiness date set for April 22, 2025. This growth in participation supports the Danish sector in modernising the current payment infrastructure for instant credit transfers, Straksbetalinger, and the Danish central bank's migration to the euro system TIPS. Additionally, the NPC has approved two new NCT Inst Scheme adherence applications from Marginalen Bank Bankaktiebolag (readiness date: March 24, 2025) and Klarna Bank AB (readiness date: March 31, 2025) to participate in SEK via RIX-INST.
